On Saturday, June 8th Team Bay Towel participated in the 2013 Bellin Run. The Bellin Run is an event held for runners and walkers of all participation levels. It was really amazing to see 20,000 runners and walkers make their way through the 10K (6.2 mile) course.
This is the 5th straight year that we have sponsored a team in the Bellin Run Corporate Challenge. The Corporate Challenge allows local businesses to compete in the annual race on a participative and competitive basis while promoting fitness and corporate camaraderie. It’s fun and fits into our company’s wellness program. We had just over 10% of our employees participate in the run which put us in the upper half of the medium size company category.
Our team co-captains, Michelle Liska and Jake Mraz did an amazing job coordinating the event. Kudos to the both of them for everything!
