A Thank You From WDA MoM - Bay Towel is Proud to Support 2025 Mission of Mercy: $885K in Donated Dental Care Delivered

At Bay Towel, we believe that strong communities are built through service, compassion, and meaningful partnerships. That’s why we are proud to have supported the 2025 WDA Mission of Mercy, held July 25–26 in Schofield, Wisconsin—a powerful event that brought free dental care to hundreds of people in need.
Healing With Heart
Organized by the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) and the WDA Foundation, the 2025 Mission of Mercy (MOM) was a remarkable demonstration of what happens when people come together to make a difference. Over 650 volunteers contributed their time, skills, and care to treat 755 individual patients—resulting in 852 total patient visits.
In just two days, the clinic delivered an astonishing $885,000 in donated dental care, completely free of charge to those in need.
“We have a huge need in our area,” said Dr. Maryann Forsell, local co-chair for the event. “Anything we can do to bring access to people who otherwise could not get care, is going to benefit our community as a whole.”
Supporting Health, One Smile at a Time
Bay Towel was honored to be among nearly 50 organizations and individuals who helped make the 2025 Mission of Mercy possible through financial and in-kind donations. Contributions from donors helped cover over $264,000 in event costs—from equipment and supplies to pharmaceuticals, food, and facility rentals. An additional $40,000 was raised to cover indirect costs.
We are especially proud to stand alongside organizations like the Aspirus Health Foundation, Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation, Henry Schein Cares, and many others who understand the importance of equitable access to healthcare.
A Legacy of Giving
Since 2009, Mission of Mercy events in Wisconsin have provided more than $12.1 million in donated dental care to over 17,100 children and adults. This legacy of generosity and healing reflects the best of our state—and aligns perfectly with Bay Towel’s own mission to support healthy, thriving communities across the Midwest.
“It’s really an opportunity to not only help those in pain,” said volunteer Dr. Robb Warren, “but give them their smiles back.”
Looking Ahead to 2027
The next Mission of Mercy event is scheduled for 2027, with a Wisconsin community location yet to be announced. As planning begins for the next clinic, we encourage others to join us in supporting this incredible cause. If you're interested in volunteering or becoming a donor, reach out to:
