To our Bay Towel and Customer Families,
We are all fighting an invisible enemy; COVID-19. We are taking every precaution to keep our Bay Towel and customer's families safe while producing much-needed healthcare linens and uniforms for the communities we serve.
Since 2011 Bay Towel has been following specific safety procedures and strict handling policies governed by the Healthcare Linen Accreditation Council, HLAC. The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) is a nonprofit organization that inspects and accredits laundries that process reusable textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. Proper sanitation procedures, product quality, plant airflow, team member personal protective equipment and safety training are given the highest priority. To learn more about the HLAC please follow the link: https://www.hlacnet.org/.
Additionally, Bay Towel processes all healthcare textiles with an EPA-registered laundry disinfectant called AdvaCare to obtain a complete kill against common harmful pathogens of concern thus eliminating worries about potentially infectious linen: https://www.ecolab.com/offerings/advacare-disinfectant-healthcare.
At this time, we ask our customers to continue to communicate with us on your linen needs. Bay Towel is handing all soiled linens as recommended by OSHA, the CDC and following all universal precautions.
Our Bay Towel family is our most important asset. Thank you for all you that you do to help our communities stay safe and healthy, especially during this uncharted time.
